Christine Willson is a Labor Compliance specialist based in San Diego. With 12 years in the construction industry and labor compliance experience, working with agencies, owners, construction management firms, project and contract managers, and contractors. Christine oversees Federal and State Labor laws on multiple construction projects within Southern California including San Diego County, Los Angeles County, San Bernardino, Orange County, and Riverside County. Christine has worked on projects with various funding to include Federal, State, Local, Section3/Affordable Housing, and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Christine oversees multiple projects simultaneously. Christine’s experience includes working with general contractors and training their payroll staff in prevailing wage requirements. She attends pre-construction conferences where a detailed overview is given to contractors and their sub-contractors regarding prevailing wage requirements for the project. Christine’s varied experience helps the labor compliance team to include sub consultants set up prevailing wage projects, audit documents for compliance, respond to request for records in a timely manner and project close out.

Christine attends several workshops to stay current with new and amended labor laws and she has held several training sessions for contractors and sub-contractors who are in need of further training on certified payroll, fringe benefit statements and all other required documents to fulfil the prevailing wage requirement on the project.

Christine has over twenty years of accounting and payroll experience and over twelve years of labor compliance management. Christine holds a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Certificate with the National Highway Institute and a 10-hour OSHA Certificate.
